Enhancements to Keysight's 89600 VSA software enable AttoTude to accelerate characterization of THz radio technology for AI data centers

Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:KEYS) today announced that AttoTude Inc., a provider of terahertz (THz) interconnect technology for AI and hyperscale data center applications, has adopted enhanced signal analysis capabilities in Keysight's 89600 Vector Signal Analysis (VSA) software to accelerate development of its THz radio technology.

AttoTude is transforming data center interconnects with an ASIC-based transmission over low-loss THz waveguides solution, addressing the bandwidth, reliability, and energy efficiency challenges facing AI infrastructure. The company's THz platform operates at frequencies up to 1 THz, with data rates reaching 225 Gbaud using advanced modulation formats including PAM4 and multi-level QAM.

Keysight's UXR Oscilloscope and 89600 VSA software, with the VSA's FlexFrame measurement capability, provide AttoTude with critical signal analysis tools for characterizing high-speed waveforms modulated onto THz carriers. Recent enhancements to FlexFrame include improved frequency estimation algorithms that work reliably in challenging channel conditions, streamlined predistortion and Rx equalization capabilities, and expanded modulation format support.
