Galapagos NV ((Euronext &, NASDAQ:GLPG), today announced the proposed appointment of Gino Santini as a Non-Executive Independent Director, with the intention to appoint him as Chair of its Board of Directors, subject to shareholder approval at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting (AGM) on April 28, 2026.

If elected, Gino Santini will replace current Director and Chair Jérôme Contamine, whose mandate as a member of the Board of Directors ends immediately after the AGM on April 28, 2026.
