U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 400 points on Monday.

Shares of IQIYI Inc – ADR (NASDAQ:IQ) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company announced a $100 million share buyback. Also, the company has submitted a listing application form to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

IQIYI shares jumped 10% to $1.32 on Monday.

  • TRON Inc (NASDAQ:TRON) jumped 11.1% to $2.41.
  • Alcoa Corp (NYSE:AA) gained 10.5% to $64.54. Shares of aluminum-related companies traded higher amid concerns over looming shortages of the metal due to curbs on Middle East exports stemming from the Strait of Hormuz security situation.
  • Bath & Body Works Inc (NYSE:BBWI) gained 10.1% to $18.51.
  • Kopin Corp (NASDAQ:KOPN) surged 9.2% to $1.98.
  • Century Aluminum Co (NASDAQ:CENX) gained 9.1% to $54.16. Shares of aluminum-related companies traded higher amid concerns over looming shortages of the metal due to curbs on Middle East exports stemming from the Strait of Hormuz security situation.
  • Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) rose 8.9% to $2.74. Gevo announced it is developing plans for major ethanol expansion at Richardton, North Dakota facility.
