The Magnificent Seven stocks staged a powerful rebound Wednesday morning after a ceasefire agreement between Iran and President Donald Trump sparked a broad risk-on rally across global markets.

Nasdaq Rallies

Investors piled back into mega-cap tech names, lifting Nasdaq futures 3.55% higher as geopolitical tensions eased and fear-driven trades reversed.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) led the pack with a 5% jump, while Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) surged 4.5% in early trading.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) both climbed roughly 4%, followed closely by Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) up 3.5% and Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) higher by 3.3%.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) lagged slightly but still gained 2%, helping solidify the group's collective momentum.

The ceasefire news, which broke just before Trump's 8 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday evening, ended a tense standoff that had roiled markets in recent weeks.

With geopolitical risk subsiding, traders rotated back into growth heavyweights that had been pressured by global uncertainty and rising yields.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite surged more than 2% at the open, helping stabilize sentiment after several choppy sessions driven by war headlines.

Looking Ahead

Analysts viewed the stock rebound as a predictable relief rally, given lower oil prices and bond yields. However, the ceasefire is new and fragile, leaving even near-term forecasts a bit murky.

"The complexity now lies in what happens next – the immediate and longer-term outlook," economist Mohamed El-Erian explained in a social media post

"I suspect that trading desks are already grappling with how to reposition from here, given the long list of questions that include: Whether and how the ceasefire holds on the ground," he added.

Even with geopolitical risk still looming, Wednesday's market rally in response to the ceasefire shows how fast both institutional and retail investors rush back into markets when fear gives way to relief.
