U.S. stocks were slightly lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 0.1% on Friday.
Shares of Apogee Enterprises Inc (NASDAQ:APOG) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results.
Adjusted diluted earnings came in at 57 cents per share, topping the analyst consensus estimate of 45 cents. Net sales totaled $342.7 million, ahead of the $333.8 million estimate.
Apogee Enterprises shares jumped 13.2% to $48.07 on Friday.

- ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:ACAD) jumped 10.3% to $26.16 after the company announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency recommended the granting of a market authorization for DAYBU.
- Sellas Life Sciences Group Inc (NASDAQ:SLS) gained 10.2% to $11.60.
- Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA) gained 9.4% to $65.38.
- Xunlei Ltd (NASDAQ:XNET) rose 9% to $5.48. Xunlei announced a $20 million share buyback program beginning July 1.

- ARS Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:SPRY) gained 8.2% to $8.68. ARS Pharmaceuticals on Wednesday reaffirmed its expectation to achieve cash-flow breakeven in 2027, even as no additional commercial formulary decisions for its epinephrine nasal spray Neffy were secured during the July 1, 2026 coverage cycle.
- ServiceNow Inc (NYSE:NOW) rose 6.4% to $95.32.
- BlackBerry Ltd (NYSE:BB) rose 6.4% to $11.00. BlackBerry recently reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of $152.9 million, up 26% from a year earlier and ahead of analyst estimates.
- Eli Lilly And Co (NYSE:LLY) gained 6% to $1,195.89. Eli Lilly received EMA CHMP positive opinion for Jaypirca in chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
- Crocs Inc (NASDAQ:CROX) jumped 5.8% to $125.77. Piper Sandler analyst Anna Andreeva upgraded Crocs from Neutral to Overweight and raised the price target from $95 to $150.
- Kodiak Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:KOD) gained 5.3% to $35.88.
