U.S. stocks traded higher this morning, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining more than 150 points on Monday.
Following the market opening Monday, the Dow traded up 0.10% to 52,953.74 while the NASDAQ rose 0.70% to 26,012.78. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.37% to 7,510.96.
Leading and Lagging Sectors
Information technology shares jumped by 1% on Monday.
In trading on Monday, health care stocks fell by 1.1%.

The S&P Global services PMI rose to 51.2 in June from 50.7 in May .
Equities Trading UP
- Lianhe Sowell International Group Ltd (NASDAQ:LHSW) shares shot up 219% to $5.74. Lianhe Sowell International Group recently announced it signed supply agreements for AI-powered automotive painting robots and spray booth systems.
- Shares of Zhongchao Inc (NASDAQ:ZCMD) got a boost, surging 118% to $2.42.
- KIDZ AI Inc (NASDAQ:KIDZ) shares were also up, gaining 103% to $1.38 after the company announced it unveiled KIDZBot, an AI Robotics learning platform
Equities Trading DOWN
- REE Automotive Ltd (NASDAQ:REE) shares dropped 66% to $0.072. REE Automotive announced the receipt of Nasdaq delisting notice.
- Shares of Alarum Technologies Ltd – ADR (NASDAQ:ALAR) were down 50% to $3.20 after the company announced it decided to temporarily pause traffic through the relevant network services for several days.
- CaliberCos Inc (NASDAQ:CWD) was down, falling 26% to $0.92. CaliberCos shares jumped over 90% on Thursday after the company announced the next phase of its real estate fund tokenization strategy using the Chainlink platform.
Commodities
In commodity news, oil traded down 0.3% to $68.48 while gold traded up 1.1% at $4,169.20.
Silver traded up 2.5% to $62.605 on Monday, while copper rose 1% to $6.2280.
Euro zone
European shares were lower today. The eurozone’s STOXX 600 fell 0.4%, while Spain’s IBEX 35 Index fell 0.8%. London’s FTSE 100 fell 0.3%, Germany’s DAX declined 0.1%, while France’s CAC 40 slipped 0.1%.
Asia Pacific Markets
Asian markets closed mixed on Monday, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 falling 0.009%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gaining 1.14%, China’s Shanghai Composite slipping 0.06% and India’s BSE Sensex gaining 0.67%.
