Dupixent Drives Growth While Vaccines Sales Decline

Dupixent sales increased by 37.6% to 5.154 billion euros, above 5 billion euros per quarter for the first time.

Global sales continued to be driven by strong volume growth across approved indications, and Dupixent retained a leading market position across its disease areas.

Vaccines sales were 1.15 billion euros and decreased by 4.7%, mainly driven by lower sales of influenza and meningitis, travel, and endemic vaccines.

Beyfortus sales were 108 million euros and increased by 54.2%, driven by Rest of World (+37.1%) benefiting from the expanded geographical availability and use in the Southern Hemisphere.

The company reported adjusted EPS of 2.09 euros or $1.21 per ADS, beating the consensus of 1.09 cents.

Sanofi Raises Dupixent And 2026 Sales Outlook

Sanofi CEO Belén Garijo said, “Dupixent sales are now expected to reach around €25 billion in 2030, complemented by approximately €10 billion from Pharma launches.”

The French drug maker forecasts fiscal 2026 sales of $55.789 billion compared to the consensus of $55.85 billion.

In 2026, sales are now expected to grow by around 10% at CER compared to the prior growth guidance of high single-digit percentage.

Company Expects Slower Second Half

Sanofi signaled a tougher, more disciplined approach to research and development as the new CEO said recent pipeline setbacks reflected weaknesses in decision-making rather than the company’s scientific capabilities.

She said the company is raising the bar for advancing programs into late-stage trials, emphasizing greater scientific rigor, fact-based decisions and clearer accountability.

Garijo added that Sanofi is conducting an ongoing portfolio review and did not rule out discontinuing additional pipeline assets as it focuses resources on medicines with the strongest scientific merit, highest unmet need and greatest commercial potential.

The company said it expects growth to moderate in the second half due to tougher year-over-year comparisons, including last year’s new Dupixent indication launches and the July 2025 consolidation of AYVAKIT.

The company also anticipates fewer one-time gross margin benefits, no additional Regeneron development-balance reimbursement, and a smaller boost from share repurchases.

The pipeline review prompted Sanofi to halt or discontinue several programs, including amlitelimab, itepekimab and balinatunfib.

SNY Stock Price Activity: Sanofi shares were down 5.65% at $42.31 at the time of publication Thursday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
