Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) sold 1,690 Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) for $108.6 million last week and raised another $653 million from share sales, pushing its USD reserve to $4.65 billion.

What Strategy Actually Did Last Week

Strategy filed an 8-K with the SEC Monday, confirming it sold 1,690 BTC at an average of $64,262 per coin between August 3 and August 9. 

The proceeds funded the repurchase of 1,152,020 STRC preferred shares for $108.6 million.

Alongside the Bitcoin sale, Strategy sold 6,585,682 MSTR shares for $653.1 million, directing $650 million to its USD reserve and adding the remaining $3.1 million to cash. 

Total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 840,447 BTC worth roughly $54.7 billion, acquired at an average of $75,385 per coin against a current price well below that.

MSTR trades at $100.01 Monday, having rejected the $105 resistance level for the third time on August 7, matching prior rejections on July 8 and July 21. 

RSI sits at 50.37, right at the neutral line, recovering but not yet showing the momentum needed to crack that ceiling.

  • $105 — three-touch resistance, the only level that matters
  • $136 — target on a confirmed daily close above $105
