U.S. stocks traded mixed midway through trading, with the Dow Jones index falling around 0.2% on Monday.
The Dow traded down 0.15% to 53,954.88 while the NASDAQ fell 0.18% to 26,645.53. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.03% to 53,954.88.

Energy shares jumped by 3% on Monday.
In trading on Monday, real estate stocks fell by 1.4%.
Top Headline
National Energy Services Reunited Corp (NASDAQ:NESR) shares jumped over 16% on Monday after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
National Energy Services reported quarterly earnings of 44 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 43 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $520.752 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $446.971 million.
Equities Trading UP
- Socket Mobile Inc (NASDAQ:SCKT) shares shot up 364% to $1.79 after the company announced a North America distribution agreement with 3Eye Technologies for the company’s Apple-based scanning solutions.
- Shares of Bowman Consulting Group Ltd (NASDAQ:BWMN) got a boost, surging 55% to $42.28 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results. The company announced it will be acquired by Bernhard Capital Partners.
- MarineMax Inc (NYSE:HZO) shares were also up, gaining 46% to $52.03 after the company announced it will be acquired by Blackrock Infrastructure’s Safe Harbor.
Equities Trading DOWN
- Sionna Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:SION) shares dropped 92% to $4.24 after the company reported topline data from the PreciSION CF Phase 2a proof-of-concept trial of SION-719 did not achieve key activity endpoint.
- Shares of Tenax Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:TENX) were down 89% to $1.50 after the company announced its Phase 3 LEVEL clinical trial evaluating TNX-103 did not meet its primary or key secondary endpoints.
- Airsculpt Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:AIRS) was down, falling 42% to $2.92 after the company reported worse-than-expected second-quarter sales results and narrowed its FY26 sales guidance below estimates.

In commodity news, oil traded up 3.2% to $80.68 while gold traded down 0.4% at $4,383.30.
Silver traded up 0.8% to $64.035 on Monday, while copper rose 0.2% to $6.6030.
Euro zone
European shares were mostly lower today. The eurozone’s STOXX 600 slipped 0.1%, while Spain’s IBEX 35 Index fell 0.1% London’s FTSE 100 fell 0.6%, Germany’s DAX slipped 0.1%, while France’s CAC 40 fell 0.2%.
Asia Pacific Markets
Asian markets closed higher on Monday, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 gaining 2.08%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gaining 1.05%, China’s Shanghai Composite rising 0.67% and India’s BSE Sensex rising 0.1%.
