United States Antimony Q2 Earnings Miss Expectations
United States Antimony released its second-quarter results after markets closed Tuesday, and the headline numbers missed Wall Street’s targets. Earnings per share was breakeven, falling short of the one-cent figure analysts had forecast, according to Benzinga Pro.
Revenue totaled approximately $7.93 million for the quarter, well under the $21.7 million analysts had projected and a drop from the $10.53 million United States Antimony brought in during the same period last year.
That combination of a bottom-line miss and steep revenue shortfall set the stage for a deeper cut to the company’s outlook for the rest of the year.
United States Antimony now projects fiscal 2026 revenue between $60 million and $75 million, cutting its prior outlook ($125 million) nearly in half and landing well short of the $114.04 million analysts had modeled.
United States Antimony CEO Points to Government Deliveries
CEO Gary Evans framed the quarter as a lag between operational progress and financial results. He said the company’s operations have been strengthening on a monthly basis, but that improvement has yet to fully show up in its earnings. Evans noted the company shipped its first orders to the U.S. government in the second quarter, though none of that revenue counted toward the period’s results.
Looking to the next quarter, Evans said he expects the company to book at least $9 million to $10 million in new government sales.
HC Wainwright Trims UAMY Price Target
The guidance cut prompted at least one Wall Street firm to adjust its outlook on the stock. HC Wainwright & Co analyst Heiko Ihle maintained a Buy rating on United States Antimony while lowering the price target to $9.25 from $11.75, a cut of about 21%.
On the Street, the stock carries a consensus Buy rating with an average price forecast of $10.13, according to Benzinga data.
UAMY Stock Analysis
The longer-term trend still points lower. UAMY trades 11.9% under its 20-day SMA at $5.69, 24.6% below its 50-day SMA at $6.65, and more than 36% beneath both its 100-day SMA at $8.12 and 200-day SMA at $7.91. The moving-average setup remains bearish with the 20-day below the 50-day, and the July death cross, when the 50-day slipped under the 200-day, continues to limit the strength of any rebound.
Momentum is trying to improve even while price stays weak. MACD has moved above its signal line and the histogram is positive, which suggests selling pressure is easing compared with the previous downswing. In practical terms, sellers may be losing some control, but the broader trend has not shifted.
