Harvard University left its Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF) position unchanged in the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing released Friday.
Harvard Holds Bitcoin ETF Position Steady
Harvard Management Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard University that manages its financial assets, reported holding 3.04 million shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (NASDAQ:IBIT) as of June 30. The stake was worth $101.35 million based on IBIT’s price of 33.29 on June 30.

What was previously Harvard’s top position, IBIT has slipped to eleventh place and currently represents 2.38% of the portfolio. Harvard bought the ETF first during the second quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, Harvard bought no new stake in the spot Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) ETF after liquidating the position entirely in the first quarter.
Harvard’s Hottest New Pick: SpaceX
Harvard also disclosed a $2.2 billion stake in Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:SPCX).
The stake makes SpaceX Harvard’s largest holding, well ahead of its next-largest positions in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd. (NYSE:TSM), Cerebras Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CBRS) and Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA).
Price Action: At the time of writing, BTC was exchanging hands at $63,355.81, up 0.57% in the last 24 hours, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
