Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares traded lower Thursday after the company announced that it has completed an independent investigation tied to export-control allegations.

Independent Review Finds No Senior Management Involvement

Supermicro said the board-led investigation found no evidence that current senior management knew of the alleged diversion scheme.

The review also found no evidence that the company directly sold export-controlled products to known restricted parties or locations or that potential diversion made its previously issued financial statements unreliable.

Supermicro was not named as a defendant in the March 2026 indictment and is not accused of wrongdoing. The indictment involved two former employees and a former contractor, all of whom no longer have ties to the company.

Supermicro said it took personnel actions, including terminations, against employees who failed to follow company policies or its code of conduct.
