On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Rob Sechan, CEO of NewEdge Wealth, picked ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE:NOW).

As per the recent news, ServiceNow, on Thursday, announced an expanded multi-year partnership with Tech Mahindra aimed at helping enterprises move AI projects from pilot programs into full-scale production.

Jim Lebenthal, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, named Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (NASDAQ:VRTX) as his final trade.

On the earnings front, Vertex Pharmaceuticals reported better-than-expected second-quarter sales on Aug. 3 and raised its FY2026 sales guidance.

The company posted second-quarter earnings of $4.73 per share which met the analyst consensus estimate. The company reported quarterly sales of $3.334 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.232 billion.

As per the latest news, Uber and Baidu Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU), on Thursday, launched fully driverless Apollo Go robotaxis on Uber’s platform in Dubai. The launch marks the first deployment under the companies’ multiyear partnership. New Horizon Luxury Transport will operate the fleet.
