Fundstrat’s Tom Lee named BMNR, MSTR, and COIN as top crypto proxies Friday while flagging this week as one of Bitcoin’s (CRYPTO: BTC) 10 most important days of the year.

Why Lee Is Flagging These Three Stocks

Lee posted on X that among 17 large-cap crypto stocks, three stand out as the strongest proxies.

BMNR (NASDAQ:BMNR) carries the highest correlation to Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) at 80%, MSTR (NASDAQ:MSTR) leads Bitcoin-linked stocks at 78%, and Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) tracks both assets at 74%, making it the best crossover pick in the group.

Lee expects Ethereum to outperform this cycle driven by tokenization and agentic AI, which he called far bigger drivers than the ICO, NFT, and stablecoin cycles that powered prior ETH outperformance.

The ETH/BTC ratio has already recovered from 0.018 to around 0.030 and entered what Fundstrat describes as a confirmed uptrend.

Why The ’10 Best Days’ Rule Matters Right Now

Lee posted a follow-up on X reminding traders waiting for an October bottom about Fundstrat’s rule of 10 best days.

Bitcoin makes essentially all of its gains in its 10 strongest sessions each year. Include those days and Bitcoin returns 162% annually. Exclude them and the return turns negative 14%.

The pattern holds in recent years too. Bitcoin’s 10 best days generated 75% in 2025 and 84% so far in 2026, while the remaining sessions returned negative 47% and negative 52% respectively.

Lee flagged this week as one of those 10 best days, making the case that waiting for a better entry risks missing the sessions that drive the entire year’s return. “Better to HODL,” Lee wrote.

Where BMNR Stands Technically

BMNR punched through the upper rail of the ascending channel that contained every session since the July low at $12.85 and clearing the 200-day EMA at $22.04 for the first time since the downtrend began.

RSI at 73.73 hits the highest reading of the entire recovery, with the 20-day and 50-day EMAs sitting well below as support.

A pullback into $22 to confirm the 200-day EMA as support would not be unusual given the stretched RSI reading, but the EMA reclaim marks a genuine structural shift in trend.

Key levels for BMNR:

  • $22.04 — 200-day EMA, breakout retest zone
  • $19.13 — 100-day EMA, secondary support below
