Ulta Beauty Inc (NASDAQ:ULTA) on Thursday posted better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter.
The company reported quarterly earnings of $6.55 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $6.16 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $3.036 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.955 billion.
Ulta Beauty raised its FY2026 GAAP EPS guidance from $28.36-$28.80 to $28.70-$29.00 and also increased sales guidance from $13.136 billion-$13.260 billion to $13.223 billion-$13.285 billion.
“Our team delivered another impressive quarter of strong sales, profit, and earnings growth, demonstrating that we are executing with discipline and translating our Ulta Beauty Unleashed strategy into tangible benefits for our guests,” said Kecia Steelman, president and chief executive officer. “We continue to strengthen our position as the ultimate beauty discovery destination, leveraging our unique understanding of our guests to drive excitement and growth through compelling innovation, value, experiences, and convenience.”
Ulta Beauty shares fell 3.6% to trade at $520.68 on Friday.
These analysts made changes to their price targets on Ulta Beauty following earnings announcement.
- B of A Securities analyst Lorraine Hutchinson maintained the stock with a Buy and lowered the price target from $685 to $650.
- Goldman Sachs analyst Kate McShane maintained the stock with a Buy and raised the price target from $648 to $667.
