A202 is Bitdeer AI's largest single capacity addition to date in Southeast Asia, secured under a 10-year data center services agreement, with energization expected in Q3 2027

With A202, Bitdeer AI's secured AI Cloud data center capacity totals approximately 206.5MW, or approximately 59% of its target of up to 350MW, to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028

SINGAPORE, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bitdeer AI, part of Bitdeer Technologies Group ("Bitdeer" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:BTDR), ("Bitdeer AI"), an emerging AI cloud service and AI infrastructure provider and preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner, today announced that it has entered into a 10-year data center services agreement for A202, a 65.1MW AI Cloud data center facility on the same Johor Bahru, Malaysia campus as its 21.7MW A201 facility.

A202 represents the Company's largest single capacity addition to date in Southeast Asia, with energization expected in Q3 2027. Similar to the A102 and A201 facilities, A202 is designed for liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA systems, including GB300 NVL72 and Vera Rubin platforms, and is capable of delivering both GPU cloud services and data hosting. Siting on the existing Johor campus allows Bitdeer AI to extend power, liquid cooling, and network infrastructure to the new A202 facility, shortening the path to energization. Together with the 21.7MW A201 facility, the Johor campus will represent 86.8MW of AI Cloud data center capacity of Bitdeer AI.

Bitdeer AI develops data center capacity consistent with contracted demand and deploys GPU and related computing capital against executed contracts.

Bitdeer AI expects the per-megawatt (MW) economics of A202 to be broadly consistent with those of A102, where 5-year offtake commitments represent total expected revenue of over $800 million across 9.5MW. Consistent with its track record at the A102 facility, Bitdeer AI expects to contract capacity ahead of energization. Contract economics vary by site, service mix and duration, and previously announced contract terms may not be indicative of future terms.

Bitdeer AI expects to fund GPU deployment at A202 primarily through customer prepayments, which it seeks to structure, as a general matter, to cover more than 50% of the associated capital expenditure, together with financing secured against contracted cash flows and operating cash flow.

Demand for uncontracted capacity at Bitdeer AI's AI Cloud sites remains strong. Bitdeer AI’s active pipeline for AI cloud capacity is now estimated to exceed $7 billion.

With A202, Bitdeer AI's secured AI Cloud data center capacity — capacity owned or under an executed data center services agreement — totals approximately 206.5MW across sites in Malaysia, Norway and the United States, representing approximately 59% of its target of up to 350MW to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028. All MW figures in this release refer to critical IT load.
