On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Kevin Simpson, founder and CEO of Capital Wealth Planning, picked Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE:FCX) amid the recent pullback in copper.
Lending support to his choice, Freeport-McMoRan, on July 23, reported second-quarter results that topped Wall Street expectations, as higher realized copper and gold prices and strong operational execution helped offset lower production from its Indonesian operations.
Shannon Saccocia, chief investment officer at Neuberger Berman, named iShares U.S. Energy ETF (NYSE:IYE) as her final trade.
