Agility Unveils Digit 5
Digit 5 is designed for industrial work alongside people and builds on more than 65,000 hours of real-world operation from the previous generation.
Agility said it had more than $300 million in multi-year customer orders as of May 2026.
The orders remain subject to contractual milestones, while its prospective pipeline spans manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
The robot introduces a new safety architecture using human detection, visual and auditory cues, and independent motion controls. Agility is also the first launch partner for NVIDIA’s Halos for Robotics platform.
Digit 5 can repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, offers a 90-minute runtime, and recharges in nine minutes. It also adds swappable end-effectors and reaches up to 7.2 feet.
Agility expects to offer early access in the first half of 2027 and make Digit 5 generally available by the end of 2027.
“Digit 5 is removing a major barrier to scaling humanoid robots in industrial environments,” Agility CEO Peggy Johnson said.
Unitree IPO Previously Boosted CCXI
CCXI also rallied in August after Unitree’s IPO valued the Chinese robotics company at $9 billion, giving investors a public valuation benchmark for humanoid robotics.
The move drew attention to CCXI as a U.S.-listed humanoid robotics proxy through its proposed $2.5 billion merger with Agility Robotics.
CCXI Stock Price Activity: Churchill Capital Corp XI shares were up 3.37% at $12.41 at the time of publication on Tuesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
