CRDO Expands ZeroFlap Optical Transceivers For AI Networking
Credo’s new ZF transceivers combine its 224G-per-lane optical DSP, Kfir200 silicon photonics technology and PILOT monitoring platform.
The 1.6T ZF transceivers can monitor network connections in real time, helping data center operators quickly detect and fix fiber issues and link interruptions before they disrupt AI workloads.
The integrated platform combines a high-performance optical engine with advanced monitoring and OCP-standard link health reporting, giving operators greater visibility and control over AI data center networks.
AI Spending Drives Connectivity Demand
This month, Credo reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter revenue of $479 million, beating the $471.77 million estimate. Adjusted earnings of $1.20 per share topped the $1.17 estimate.
During the earnings call, CEO Bill Brennan said continued investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure is a major growth catalyst, as larger data center clusters require connectivity that is faster, more dependable and more energy efficient.
Credo provides copper and optical connectivity solutions covering distances ranging from millimeters to kilometers. Brennan said future AI infrastructure is likely to adopt a variety of architectures and connectivity technologies, creating growth opportunities across Credo’s product portfolio.
