CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) shares are rising Thursday. Bernstein raised its price target on the stock, and the company was named a Leader in a closely watched Forrester threat intelligence report. Here’s what you should know.
- CrowdStrike Holdings stock is approaching key resistance levels. What’s driving CRWD to record levels?
Bernstein Raises its CrowdStrike Price Target
Bernstein analyst Peter Weed maintained a Market Perform rating on CrowdStrike while raising his price target to $132 from $119.
The move follows other recent analyst actions on the stock: Wedbush maintained an Outperform rating with a $250 target on Sept. 11, and Macquarie held a Neutral rating with a $200 target on Sept. 4. CrowdStrike carries an overall Buy rating on Wall Street, with an average price target of $244.68.
CrowdStrike Named a Leader in Forrester’s Threat Intelligence Report
Adding to the bullish backdrop, research firm Forrester placed CrowdStrike at the top of its latest evaluation of external threat intelligence vendors, putting the company ahead of every competitor assessed on both the strength of its current product and its long-term strategy.
According to Forrester, demand across this corner of the security industry is shifting toward AI-powered tools that turn raw intelligence into concrete action, yet most providers in the space still only handle a narrow slice of what customers actually need. The firm pointed to CrowdStrike as a clear outlier, crediting an intelligence engine built directly into its own platform and fed by endpoint data that rival vendors simply can’t obtain through outside partnerships.
Adam Meyers, who leads CrowdStrike’s Counter Adversary Operations team, tied that edge back to the sheer scale of real-world attacks the company intercepts every day, arguing that firsthand visibility into adversary behavior is precisely what separates useful intelligence from raw data.
Forrester added that CrowdStrike’s heavy investment in research alongside its wide-ranging product lineup gives it a real shot at turning Threat AI into the central brain of a fully automated security operation, one capable of pulling together exposure tracking, vulnerability ranking, attack surface monitoring and threat intelligence under a single roof.
