Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) shares are jumping Friday. Tigress Financial Partners raised the price target on the stock, citing the company’s AI leadership across its core businesses. Here’s what you should know.

Tigress Financial Raises its Alphabet Price Target to $485

Tigress Financial analyst Ivan Feinseth kept his Strong Buy rating on Alphabet in place while pushing the price target up to $485 from $415.

Feinseth pointed to Alphabet’s dominance across the full AI technology stack as the driving force behind stronger performance in Search, Cloud and YouTube alike, using the company’s latest quarterly results to back up that view, a period marked by continued strength in search advertising, a sharp acceleration in cloud revenue and widening profit margins.

He also highlighted how offerings like the Gemini model, Alphabet’s in-house TPU chips and a growing suite of AI-powered services are giving the company fresh avenues to bring in revenue beyond its traditional business lines. Feinseth argued that Alphabet’s sheer size, consistent profitability and varied mix of businesses position the company to deliver outsized returns well into the future.

On the risk side, Feinseth conceded that pouring money into AI infrastructure is squeezing the company’s near-term return on capital, though he framed that tradeoff as setting up faster profit expansion later on. He said Alphabet’s approach to deploying capital reflects an effort to stay ahead in AI without sacrificing the balance sheet or shortchanging shareholders.

Wall Street Remains Largely Bullish, With a Wide Range of Targets

Beyond Tigress Financial’s update, Alphabet carries an overall Strong Buy rating on Wall Street, with an average price target of $436.25. Other recent analyst actions include JPMorgan lowering its target to $420 while maintaining an Overweight rating, TD Cowen holding its target at $475 with a Buy rating, and Oppenheimer lowering its target to $400 while keeping an Outperform rating, all on July 23.
