Orders $18.8M GPU Servers for AI Expansion
Under the agreement, Quanome will pay Compal Electronics approximately $18.8 million for the 32 GPU servers, with an initial payment of 20% of the purchase price due following acceptance of the purchase order and the remaining 80% payable prior to shipment. The servers are expected to be delivered to a designated data center location in the United States. Completion of the purchase remains subject to several conditions, including Quanome’s payment obligations, Compal’s ability to complete production and delivery, and other customary commercial and operational requirements.
Quanome said it currently intends to deploy the GPU servers as part of the development of its artificial intelligence computing infrastructure business.
