Twilio Inc. (NYSE:TWLO) shares are trading higher after a couple of analysts boosted price forecasts on the stock.
- Rosenblatt analyst Catharine Trebnick maintained its Buy rating on the stock and raised its price forecast from $275 to $290.
- TD Cowen analyst Derrick Wood reiterated a Buy rating and increased the price forecast from $260 to $300.
TD Cowen analyst notes that Twilio shares have gained approximately 15% over the past week as investors increasingly recognize the company’s potential exposure to the rapid rise of consumer-focused AI agents.
Continued adoption could create additional growth opportunities for Twilio in the third quarter and potentially provide a larger boost in the fourth quarter if current demand trends persist, the analyst adds.
Derrick Wood says that in the long term, the growing use of personal AI assistants could enhance Twilio’s AI infrastructure and software positioning and strengthen its role as a strategic technology provider in the emerging B2C agentic AI market.
Rosenblatt analyst writes that following a discussion with Twilio management, she has become more constructive on the company’s potential to monetize AI-driven communications and expand beyond its traditional messaging and connectivity business.
The analyst highlighted four key takeaways: voice is increasingly emerging as a software-driven growth opportunity, while AI-generated communications appear largely incremental rather than replacing existing volumes.
Consumer AI agents could create a significant new communications and identity layer, while Twilio’s expanding software attach counters the view that customers primarily use the company for messaging. adds the analyst.
