Agreement Terms and ALCI Credit Allocations
Under the agreement, effective September 14 MindWave will design, develop, deploy and host AQUAEChain using its proprietary Layer-2 MindChain infrastructure, while providing technical maintenance and escalation support once live.
AQUAEChain will function as an integrated registry, marketplace and data management platform for insured AQUAE Labs Ecosystems Conservation Index (ALCI) Credits, utilizing field-based monitoring, reporting and verification.
In exchange for software development and operational services, MindWave will earn contracted service fees alongside a recurring 20% allocation of all issued and outstanding ALCI Credits on the network, calculated at each quarter-end. The agreement also outlines an option for a five-year continuing services arrangement following the initial 12-month term.
Management Commentary and Ecosystem Expansion
Highlighting the commercial expansion of the firm’s digital asset footprint ahead of MindChain’s planned mainnet launch in October, Vin Menon, chief executive officer of MindWave Innovations, stated, “Being chosen by AQUAE to build the technology foundation for its ecosystem-finance business shows what MindWave can deliver beyond traditional software development.”
Linju Thomas, chief operating officer of AQUAE Holdings, emphasized the strategic division of responsibilities, noting, “AQUAEChain is central to our plan for ecosystem-finance infrastructure that the market can depend on.” Thomas added, “MindWave gives us a scalable platform for managing ALCI Credits, so our team can concentrate on the methodology, our partners and the conservation and regenerative-sustainability initiatives behind each credit.”
