Shares of Gold Fields Ltd (NYSE:GFI) fell sharply in pre-market trading.

Shares of precious metals-related companies traded lower as gold and silver prices decline.

Gold Fields shares dipped 16.1% to $33.90 in pre-market trading.

  • Hycroft Mining Holding Corp (NYSE:HYMC) declined 6.8% to $20.02 in pre-market trading. Hycroft Mining Holding, last week, announced it expects to have two additional core rigs in the Q4 to accelerate drilling on Vortex and Brimstone and test other highly prospective targets across the site.
