On the earnings front, UnitedHealth Group said it will release its third-quarter financial results on Tuesday, Oct. 13, before the opening bell. Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings of $4.14 per share on revenue of $111.49 billion.

Kevin Simpson, founder and CEO of Capital Wealth Planning, picked UnitedHealth as his final trade last week.

Jim Lebenthal, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, named AbbVie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV) as his final trade.

In recent news, AbbVie disclosed Monday that the FDA approved JUVMO to treat adults with Parkinson’s disease.

Joseph M. Terranova, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, recommended Okta, Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA).

Supporting his call, Scotiabank analyst Patrick Colville maintained Okta with a Sector Outperform and raised the price target from $190 to $245, while Citizens analyst Rustam Kanga maintained the stock with a Market Outperform and raised the price target from $180 to $225.
