Moderna Inc. (NASDAQ:MRNA) shares are climbing again Tuesday, touching a fresh 52-week high of $208.90 just days after clearing its previous record on strong clinical trial news.

Moderna Sets Another Fresh 52-Week High
Intraday trading pushed shares as high as $208.90 Tuesday, pushing well beyond the stock’s earlier 52-week ceiling of $202.67, a level shares had climbed to after last Friday’s initial breakout on clinical trial news.
That earlier move followed news that conference organizers for this year’s European Society for Medical Oncology gathering had agreed to feature three separate research submissions tied to Moderna’s experimental cancer drug, intismeran autogene, ahead of the event’s late-October showing in Madrid. Among those submissions is a headline presentation covering advanced trial results pairing the drug with Merck’s Keytruda in patients battling melanoma.
Moderna’s Technical Setup Remains Constructive, Though Stretched
Looking at the broader trend, Moderna’s chart still leans bullish, with its 20-day average sitting above the 50-day line and a golden cross that formed back in January when the 50-day average climbed past the 200-day mark.
Momentum readings tell a slightly different story, though. The relative strength index first crossed into overbought levels in September, so the more pressing question now is whether shares can hold onto recent gains by trading in a tighter range rather than surrendering that ground quickly.
Moderna’s own strength stands in contrast to its broader sector today. The stock belongs to healthcare, a group sitting near the bottom of the pack at ninth among 11 S&P sectors and down 0.83% on the session. Even so, Moderna is beating that struggling sector by 2.15 percentage points today. Healthcare overall has slipped 0.43% over the past month, though it’s still managed a 6.43% gain across the last quarter.
MRNA Shares Are Rising
