Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:IART) shares plunged nearly 20% after the medical technology company on Friday reported preliminary third-quarter results and cut its full-year 2026 guidance. The stock rebounded Monday.

Integra cited ongoing operational disruptions from severe July flooding at its Cincinnati manufacturing facility as the primary reason for the weaker outlook.

A mid-summer flood extensively damaged equipment, inventory and physical structures at the Cincinnati plant.

This specific facility manufactures and supports multiple key products within the company’s Specialty Surgical Technologies portfolio.

The supply chain disruption negatively impacted third-quarter revenue by roughly $7 million.

The company anticipates an even steeper financial toll in the fourth quarter, estimating revenue losses between $15 million and $20 million.

Management expects the Cincinnati site to successfully return to full manufacturing capacity during the second quarter of 2027.

Insurance Claims and Financial Recovery

The company maintains comprehensive property and business interruption insurance for the Cincinnati site.

Management anticipates that these insurance recoveries will substantially offset the earnings impact tied to the disruption throughout the entire recovery timeline.

Preliminary Third-Quarter Results and Lowered Guidance

For the third quarter of 2026, the company projects revenue landing between $410 million and $412 million.

During this same period, adjusted earnings per diluted share should range from $0.55 to $0.59.

Looking at the broader business for the remainder of the year, the company slashed its full-year 2026 reported revenue forecast. The previous target range of $1.654 billion to $1.695 billion now sits at a lowered estimate of $1.634 billion to $1.654 billion.

Furthermore, the company reduced its adjusted earnings per diluted share guidance to a range of $2.30 to $2.40, down from the prior $2.40 to $2.50 projection. Full-year operating cash flow should finish between $190 million and $200 million.

IART Price Action: Integra LifeSciences shares were up 3.00% to $13.06 at the time of publication on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
