Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) Executive Chairman Michael Saylor on Thursday called Elon Musk’s latest SpaceX (NASDAQ:SPCX) valuation claim “₿ullish,” tying the moment back to Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC).
Why Saylor Called It ‘Bullish’
Musk posted on X Thursday that he sees “a path to SpaceX being worth orders of magnitude more than the current Earth economy,” adding the idea will “sound super crazy.”
Saylor replied with a single word: “₿ullish,” swapping the first letter for the Bitcoin symbol.
One order of magnitude means 10x, so Musk’s claim implies SpaceX could eventually top $12 quadrillion, measured against the IMF’s $126.3 trillion estimate for 2026 world GDP.
Musk made a similar claim back in July, arguing SpaceX could outvalue Earth’s entire economy if it hits its goals.
Strategy’s Tokenized Stock Lead
On the same day, Strategy posted that it leads all companies in tokenized stock value on-chain, with $491 million combined across MSTR and STRC (NASDAQ:STRC) tokens.
Saylor shared the chart with the caption “Probably nothing.”
| Company | Tokenized stock value |
| Strategy | $491 million |
| Circle | $338 million |
| SpaceX | $174 million |
| Nvidia | $150 million |
| Tesla | $120 million |
Strategy’s total beats SpaceX, Nvidia and Tesla combined, whose tokenized stock value adds up to $444 million.
How SpaceX’s Bitcoin Stake Compares to Strategy’s
SpaceX holds 18,720 BTC, a position that grew in value by more than $191.7 million over 20 days as Bitcoin climbed through September, according to Arkham Intelligence data. SpaceX neither bought nor sold any Bitcoin during that stretch.
Strategy’s holdings dwarf both Musk-led companies by comparison. The company holds 848,000 BTC, roughly 28 times more than Tesla and SpaceX combined, based on the latest disclosures from each firm.
| Company | Bitcoin holdings |
| Strategy | 848,000 BTC |
| SpaceX | 18,712 BTC |
| Tesla | 11,509 BTC |
Could Bitcoin Benefit From Musk’s SpaceX Vision?
Any benefit to Bitcoin would depend on what SpaceX does with its growing business. If the company used future cash flows to buy more Bitcoin or introduced Bitcoin payments across its services, that could create additional demand or utility. Neither move is established by the posts quoted here.
Saylor’s "bullish" response draws attention to the connection, though he offered no explanation of how Musk’s vision would benefit Bitcoin.
Why SpaceX Stock Is Also Climbing Today
SPCX shares rose 4% in Friday premarket, according to Benzinga Pro data, as broader risk appetite lifted Nasdaq futures 0.89%.
CNBC’s Jim Cramer pointed to Starlink, reusable rockets and SpaceX’s growing AI computing business as reasons for his bullish stance.
Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs raised its SpaceX price target to $230 from $220, implying roughly 37% upside from Wednesday’s close.
SpaceX is also reportedly seeking another $40 billion to expand its Nvidia chip and computing operations, funded through a mix of bank loans and investment-grade debt.
