U.S. stocks traded mixed this morning, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 0.4% on Monday.

Following the market opening Monday, the Dow traded up 0.36% to 51,842.74 while the NASDAQ fell 0.16% to 27,322.33. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.06% to 7,815.98.

Leading and Lagging Sectors

Energy shares jumped by 1.5% on Monday.

In trading on Monday, information technology stocks fell by 0.4%.

Enovix Corp (NASDAQ:ENVX) shares rose sharply after the company reported strong preliminary revenue growth for the third quarter.

Enovix reported third-quarter preliminary revenue of $11 million, up 38% year over year.

Equities Trading UP
           

  • Mobile-Health Network Solutions (NASDAQ:MNDR) shares shot up 289% to $3.31.
  • Shares of J-Star Holding Co Ltd (NASDAQ:YMAT) got a boost, surging 72% to $2.22 after the company announced its ongoing corporate capital initiatives will fund the planned U.S. expansion for drone frame manufacturing.
  • Euro Tech Holdings Company Ltd (NASDAQ:CLWT) shares were also up, gaining 68% to $2.28 after the company announced its entry into Norway through a 50/50 JV agreement between Sea Clean and its subsidiary, Euro Tech Global.

Equities Trading DOWN

  • DarkIris Inc (NASDAQ:DKI) shares dipped 51% to $0.17.
  • Shares of China SXT Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:SXTC) were down 35% to $0.097. Univest Securities, LLC announced closing of $12 million registered direct offering for its client China SXT Pharmaceuticals.
  • Vivakor inc (NASDAQ:VIVK) was down, falling 34% to $2.50. Vivakor, last week, announced it will acquire Direct Midstream.

Commodities

In commodity news, oil traded up 1.4% to $93.11 while gold traded down 0.5% at $4,194.70.

Silver traded down 0.2% to $60.915 on Monday, while copper rose 1.3% to $6.7760.

Euro zone

European shares were higher today. The eurozone’s STOXX 600 rose 0.7%, while Spain’s IBEX 35 Index gained 0.9%, London’s FTSE 100 rose 0.8%, Germany’s DAX gained 0.8%, while France’s CAC 40 gained 0.4%.

Asia Pacific Markets

Asian markets closed mixed on Monday, with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index jumping 0.25%, China’s SSE Composite Index falling 0.43% and India’s BSE Sensex falling 0.76%.
