Follow-On Deployment Expands Customer's Capstone Gas Turbine Fleet to 12 MW Across Multiple Interconnected Midstream Facilities

Capstone Energy+, Inc. (NASDAQ:CEPL) ("Capstone" or the "Company"), a leading provider of behind-the-meter clean gas turbine energy solutions for industrial and commercial operations, as well as solutions designed for emerging datacenter applications, today announced the delivery of two additional C1000S Signature Series gas turbines to support the continued expansion of a major U.S. midstream natural gas infrastructure project in southern New Mexico.

Secured through Capstone’s authorized distributor, Horizon Power Systems, the additional 2 MW deployment represents the latest phase of a multi-year program for a major midstream operator. The order expands the customer’s fleet to a total of 12 Capstone C1000S gas turbine systems, providing 12 MW of power generation operating across six interconnected gas facilities.

Capstone’s patented gas turbine technology, featuring a single moving part supported by air bearings, delivers low-maintenance, low-emissions on-site power for a wide range of critical infrastructure assets. The multi-bay turbine configuration provides integrated redundancy, maximizing uptime reliability and supporting continuous operations and uninterrupted gas delivery to market.

The project supports a large-scale natural gas infrastructure system spanning more than 200,000 acres and more than 200 miles of gathering pipelines. With utility power unavailable at several remote compressor stations, the customer required a rapidly deployable distributed power solution capable of supporting critical operations, meeting stringent emissions and uptime reliability requirements in remote, high-altitude environments subject to extreme seasonal temperature changes.
