Exclusive X-Ray Distribution Deal
The agreement makes SU Group the sole authorized distributor of HDX’s flagship portable X-ray system in Hong Kong and Macau.
It is the company’s second international distribution agreement of 2026, following its June partnership with Germany’s GEZE.
The TRACELINE PX3 supports Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures, fire investigation, and industrial Non-Destructive Testing.
The field-ready PX3-S combines digital radiography, a low-dose pulsed X-ray source, and digital image processing in a lightweight unit.
Its IP54-rated design supports harsh operating environments. HDX said its pulsed technology reduces radiation exposure by more than 70% compared with continuous-source systems while lowering power consumption.
Industrial Inspection Expansion
The deal gives SU Group a foothold in industrial inspection while complementing its security and engineering operations.
Chairman and CEO Dave Chan said, “This agreement further strengthens our comprehensive solutions portfolio with a dedicated platform to compete in industrial markets. TRACELINE PX3 is exactly the kind of technology our security and engineering customers have been asking for: fast, safe, low power and field-ready.”
“More importantly, it gives us a credible entry into industrial inspection, a market with its own attractive growth trajectory and margin profile. We intend to move quickly to convert this meaningful opportunity into value for shareholders.”
SU Group Plans $721,000 Safety Solutions Acquisition
Separately, SU Group agreed to acquire KM Safety Solution Company Limited for HK$5.616 million, or about $721,000, in cash.
KM provides safety solutions and consultancy services and holds Hong Kong distribution rights for intelligent emergency lighting control products through July 2028.
SU Group said the deal would expand its technology-enabled safety and security offerings and complement its engineering capabilities.
The acquisition remains subject to due diligence and required approvals. The agreement will terminate if conditions are not met or waived by Oct. 31, 2026, and completion is not assured.
